Suzanne Beckley

Suzanne Beckley

Senior Policy Adviser,
National Education Union

After graduating with an English degree, and following a brief stint working in pensions in the City, Suzanne trained and worked as an English teacher in London in the early to mid-2000s, before taking up a position within the then ATL. There she worked primarily on teachers’ pensions policy and family-friendly issues. She is now a policy specialist focusing on initial teacher training, career development, and professionalism for the National Education Union. Suzanne is a busy mum of two boys, and in her spare time is a school governor, plays a little golf (badly!) and enjoys the theatre.
